We provide individuals or corporate entities instant and seamless access to buying and selling of building materials in Africa. Through our website, we provide a platform where buyers can purchase construction materials or otherwise procure the services of verified construction workmen/artisans (“the Services”).

      • Any linked third-party services (such as Vendy Pay) may retain their own records according to their respective privacy policies.

      How to Delete Your Account:

      • You can delete your account by navigating to the settings section of your account profile and selecting the “Delete Account” option.
      • Upon confirming, your account will be scheduled for deletion. It may take up to 48 hours for the deletion process to be fully completed.

   2. Data Deletion

      In addition to account deletion, you have the right to request the deletion of specific personal data. You may:

      • Request the removal of certain data (e.g., shipping addresses, saved payment methods) without deleting your account.
      • Contact our support team at support@buildafrica.co to request data deletion. We will review your request and take appropriate action within 5 working days.

      Please Note:

      • Certain information may not be immediately removed from our backup systems but will be deleted during our regular backup processes.
      • We may retain some information as required by law, such as records for financial, tax, and audit purposes.

   3. Effects of Deletion

      Once your account or data is deleted:

      • You will lose access to your account and any associated services, including purchase history, saved items, and ongoing orders.
      • If you wish to use our services again, you will need to create a new account.
      • You may not be able to recover any deleted data after the process is complete.
